Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Design Blues, an independent developer based in India ("we", "us"), the maker of NiNav. By installing or using NiNav you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use NiNav.

1. What NiNav is

NiNav keeps track of the dates in your life (renewals, expiry dates, bills, warranties, services) and reminds you before they come round. It works on your phone without an account.

2. Reminders are a helper, not a guarantee

NiNav does its best to remind you on time, but a reminder can be late or missed for reasons outside our control: your phone's battery saver, notification settings, the phone being off, a date or setting entered wrongly, or a fault. NiNav does not give legal, financial, insurance or tax advice. You remain responsible for your own deadlines, payments and documents, and for keeping your own records of anything important.

3. Your account

An account is optional. If you create one, keep your Google account or email inbox safe, since that is how you sign in, and tell us at ninav.support@gmail.com if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. Free and Premium

• Free includes up to 20 active reminders (up to 30 with Invite a friend: you and a friend who signs in from your invite each get 5 more, at most 10 more each), your own reminder times, scan, speak and share-to-NiNav, files in your own Google Drive, backup to a file, and the Next up widget.
• Premium adds unlimited reminders, sync across your phones and to a new phone, family sharing, "remind until done", every home screen widget, and the PDF report. Exporting your data as a CSV file is free for everyone. Some Premium features need you to be signed in. Features we have not released yet will be added when they are ready.
• Sizes. Premium puts no limit on how many reminders you add. To keep NiNav fast and our service running for everyone, one import from a file adds at most 1,000 rows, imports stop once an account holds 5,000 items, and cloud sync keeps up to 20 MB of items per account (photos and files live in your own Google Drive and do not count). If you ever reach these, write to us and we will help.
• Buying. Premium is sold through Google Play at the price shown there for your country, monthly or yearly. Auto-renewing plans renew until you cancel in Google Play; cancel at least a day before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Prepaid plans are paid once and do not renew by themselves. Payment, billing and refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policies.
• Premium belongs to your NiNav account when you are signed in, so it works on each phone where you sign in.
• If Premium ends (cancelled, expired or refunded), nothing you added is deleted. On Free, the first 20 reminders you added keep notifying and the rest pause; they notify again when Premium is back. Sync, family sharing and other Premium features stop until then.
• We may change what Free and Premium include, or the prices, in the future. Price changes follow Google Play's rules, which give you notice and a chance to cancel first.

5. Your content

Everything you add to NiNav (items, dates, notes, photos, files) belongs to you. When you use sync or family sharing, you allow us to store, copy and send it only as needed to run those features for you. You are responsible for what you add and for having the right to add it, including other people's contact details.

6. Fair use

Please do not misuse NiNav: do not use it for anything illegal, try to reach other people's data or our server without permission, overload or disrupt the service, or copy, resell or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.

7. Other services

Some features rely on other companies' services, such as Google Play, Google Drive, Google sign-in and Cloudflare. Your use of those is also governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability.

8. Changes and availability

We improve NiNav often, which can mean adding, changing or removing features. We try to keep everything working, but we cannot promise that NiNav or its sync server will always be available or free of errors.

9. Disclaimer

NiNav is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including that NiNav will meet every need or that every reminder will arrive.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as a missed renewal, a late fee, a penalty or a lapsed policy), or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim about NiNav is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

11. Ending

You can stop using NiNav at any time: delete your data in Settings and uninstall the app, and delete your account in Settings (see Delete your NiNav account or data). We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and will tell you why where we can.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts of India, without taking away any right you have to use the courts where you live.

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and its date, and tell you in the app before an important change takes effect. Using NiNav after that means you accept the new terms.
